Jamie Marshall — Oklahoma City, OK — Marshall Environmental Management

Jamie Marshall | President | MS | CIH


Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Charles L Marshall, as a leader in the environmental and industrial hygiene profession, Jamie started his career at Marshall Environmental Management, Incorporated (MEM) in 2003, as a technician, while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Central Oklahoma. Jamie then attained a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Sciences from the University of Oklahoma. Jamie has since become a Board-Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and President of MEM. Jamie is currently licensed as an Oklahoma Department of Labor (ODOL) Asbestos Inspector, Management Planner and Asbestos Abatement Project Designer and an Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) Lead-Based Paint Inspector and Risk Assessor. He also holds a National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) 582E Asbestos Fiber Counting Certificate. Jamie also served as the lead instructor for the ODEQ Lead-Based Paint program at Metro Technology Center. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and previously served at the University of Central Oklahoma teaching courses in Healthcare Safety, Hazard Control and Industrial Hygiene. On a continual basis, Jamie strives to provide the utmost service and expertise to MEM clients.

Rachel Butler — Oklahoma City, OK — Marshall Environmental Management

Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Central Oklahoma before joining Marshall Environmental Management, Incorporated (MEM). Rachel started working with MEM in 2011 as a technician while earning a Master of Science from the University of Oklahoma in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Health Sciences. During her employment with MEM, Rachel attained an Oklahoma Department of Labor (ODOL) Asbestos Inspector License, an Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) Lead-Based Paint Inspector and Risk Assessor License and a National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) 582E Asbestos Fiber Counting Certificate and in 2016 Rachel became a Board-Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). Rachel plays an instrumental role with MEM by specializing in Industrial Hygiene and asbestos in addition to managing indoor air quality and lead-based paint projects.as

Alex Lane — Oklahoma City, OK — Marshall Environmental Management

Alex Lane | Industrial Hygiene Associate


Alex joined Marshall Environmental Management, Incorporated (MEM) in 2012 to assist with a short-term project. Alex quickly secured his position with MEM by expanding his knowledge and exhibiting hard work and dedication. During his employment with MEM, Alex acquired an Oklahoma Department of Labor (ODOL) Asbestos Inspector License, an Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) Lead-Based Paint and Risk Assessor License and a National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) 582E Asbestos Fiber Counting Certificate. As an Industrial Hygiene Associate, Alex manages numerous asbestos and lead-based paint projects. Alex also performs various aspects of new-employee training.

Sarah Marshall — Oklahoma City, OK — Marshall Environmental Management

Sarah Marshall, Project Manager


In 1989, Sarah started working part time for Dr. Keith L Stanley of Stanley Engineering, Incorporated. Her initial duties consisted of cleaning the office and washing laboratory glassware. Eventually working fulltime, her work functions evolved into clerical work, assisting with laboratory procedures and waste-water monitoring. For a number of years, Sarah assisted with various indoor air quality, industrial hygiene and engineering projects. This is where Sarah met and eventually married Jamie Marshall. When Dr. Stanley began his retirement process in 2006, Sarah joined ranks with Marshall Environmental Management, Incorporated (MEM) where she continued to assist with indoor air quality and industrial hygiene projects. Provided a unique opportunity, Sarah worked under two leading experts, Dr. Stanley and Dr. Marshall, in the Industrial Hygiene field. As a driving force in the growth of MEM, Sarah acquires and manages countless projects, and as of January 2014 Sarah serves as the Corporate Secretary for MEM.
